100% Natural Ingredients
We kept our formula simple and effective, using natural ingredients chosen for their gentle properties.
Shea Butter
A rich natural moisturiser that helps soften and protect the skin around the lips.
Vitamin E Oil
Supports healthy skin and helps keep the mouth supple and nourished.
Peppermint Oil
Adds a light flavour that many horses enjoy and encourages them to mouth the bit more comfortably.
How to Use
Take a small amount of balm with your fingers and gently apply it to the corners of your horse’s mouth, where the bit sits.
Some riders also like to apply a small amount directly onto the bit.
Because the balm softens with warmth, it spreads easily and only a small amount is needed.

Your Questions, Answered.
Find answers to the most common questions about feeding, ingredients, suitability and getting the best results from your supplement.
How much do I need to feed?
Feed the recommended daily amount shown on the product label. Feeding rates vary depending on the supplement and your horse’s size. For best results, feed consistently as part of your horse’s daily routine. Check out our Feeding Guide
How long will it take to see results?
Every horse is different, but many owners notice improvements within a few weeks of consistent feeding. Natural supplements work gradually, so we recommend allowing at least 4–6 weeks to assess results.
How long will my supplement last?
Most of our 1kg supplements provide approximately 30–60 days’ supply, depending on the product and feeding rate. Please refer to the feeding guidelines on the product page for specific information.
Are your supplements competition legal?
Most Glas Equine supplements are suitable for competition horses. However, Devil’s Claw and Mellow Mare are not competition legal and should be withdrawn 14 days before competing. Please check individual product pages and your governing body’s current regulations before use.
