Introducing our all-natural dried carrot flakes, the perfect treat for your beloved equine companion. Made from 100% real carrots, these flakes are packed with natural vitamins, minerals, and fibre that are essential for your horse's health and well-being.

Our carrots are free from any artificial flavours, colours and added sugars, ensuring that your horse gets only the best.

Benefits

Rich in Vitamins & Minerals: Carrots are an excellent source of vitamin A, potassium, and beta-carotene. These nutrients support overall health and help promote strong bones, healthy skin and coat, and good immune function.

Low in Sugar: Unlike many other sweet treats that horses enjoy, carrots are low in sugar and won't cause a spike in blood sugar levels. This makes them a healthier option for horses with conditions such as insulin resistance or laminitis.

High in Fibre: Carrots are also high in fiber, which can help to improve digestive health and prevent digestive issues such as colic. The fiber in carrots also helps to promote a feeling of fullness, making them a great low-calorie snack option for horses.

Make Great Training Treats: Carrots are a tasty and healthy treat that horses love, making them a great option for use as training treats. They can be easily broken into small pieces for use during training sessions or as rewards for good behaviour.

Feeding instructions

Feed in Moderation: Dried carrots flakes should be fed in moderation as part of a balanced diet. They are a treat and should not replace regular meals or be fed in large quantities. As a general rule, no more than 1 cups of dried carrots should be fed per day, depending on the size and activity level of your horse.

Soak if Necessary: Ensure your horse has sufficient access to water and is well hydrated if feeding dried. If your horse has dental issues or is prone to choking, you may need to soak the dried carrots in water before feeding. This can help to soften them and make them easier to chew and swallow.
